Massage Therapist Employment Opportunities

Thank you for your interest in learning more about the positions that are opening on an on-going basis for qualified, on-site massage therapists to serve our corporate clients.

 CBA provides excellent stress reducing and productivity-enhancing services to employees of small and large companies in Orange County.  With top character , competence and commitment we deliver quality on site, problem specific therapeutic massage services, other preventive health services, organization stress assessments, and stress reduction workshops to help our clients increase employee health and productivity and company profitability.

 All of our services are focused on helping to reduce stress, absenteeism, workmen's compensation claims, employee health premiums and increase productivity and profitability. The effect of our on-site massage programs also helps create loyal, collaborative and cooperative attitudes in company  employees, thus creating a stronger bond between all employees in the work place.

Benefits

The massage therapist position is an hourly position.  Benefits include earned vacation time.

 Massage Therapist Qualifications

We are seeking experienced massage therapists who are able to accurately access client problems and know what treatment is needed.  Our therapists must be competent in Swedish, Deep Tissue and Sports Massage Techniques. Opportunities for receiving training in other techniques will be made available to members of our team.

 To work successfully in company environments, our massage therapists must be a good listeners, cordial, flexible, patient, upbeat and friendly encouragers of excellent health as they serve employees in our client companies. They must be of high moral integrity and serve the employees of our client company with total professionalism. 

Certification and Training Requirements Include:

Minimum 500 hour training program 

  1. Proof in writing that you graduated from a formal training program.  This proof must be in the form of an original official school transcript and a notarized copy of your diploma or certificate of completion.  
  2. A school must document in your official transcript the following:
  3. At least 100 in class clock hours in Anatomy/Physiology
  4. At least 200 in class clock hours in Massage and or Bodywork Theory and Application.  This must include at least two in class clock hours of Ethics. 
  5. The remainder of your in class clock hours must be in a related field - something that completes your massage and or bodywork program of study.
  6. The date you started the program.
  7. The length of any time you took off from school during your course of study.
  8. Your graduation date or the date that finished your course of study.
  9. Your grades and number of clock hours you completed.
  10. The signature of the program or school director.

*If you only hold a certificate, please contact your school and they should provide you with a copy of your transcript.

 Following Our Dress Code

Dress Attire - Men and women Hawaiian print shirts; men Khaki slacks; women Khaki or Capri Pants. Men and women clean, white tennis shoes. Clothing needs to be neatly pressed and looking professional.

Hair - Long hair is permissible but must be pulled back with no hair flowing in face.

Jewelry - Women's earrings in ears only. Limited to two on each side. No other body piercings visible. Men, no body piercing visible. Men and women, necklaces acceptable. No rings or wrist jewelry.

Makeup - Discreet makeup having a more natural daytime appearance – no dramatic eye makeup.

Fingernails - Manicured and neatly trimmed short nails a must.

 

 
Willing to Participate in Special Training Opportunities
